YOUNG & BEAUTIFUL

Chanel Raymundo wonders who's this idiot taking my picture?

Now, I'm really irritated.

Any second now and I'm gonna smack this photographer.

Oh my God. It's Tito Joey.

Maria Teresa Panaligan is a singer. Check out her two videos below.

Who would have thought that the Filipinos Making Waves Festival at Yonge-Dundas Square would attract the crowd so often overlooked by other Filipino festivals?

I am referring to the young crowd. Located at the hub of downtown, beside the the Eaton Centre, crowds of young and beautiful flocked to the festival like moths to a flame. The Gods must have smiled on the creator of this 3-year old festival, Theresa Torralba, with husband and former Hotdog bandmember Mon, on the 3rd weekend of August 2009. Both days were blessed with sun, fun and songs. It has been a long time coming this summer when every weekend was marred by rain. It might have been too hot but that is fine and dandy.

Maria Teresa Panaligan sings Rihanna's "Please don't stop the music."

Maria sings "I drive all night."

How long will Cristeta Comerford last as White House Chef

The Obamas are so hip everybody wants to climb on the bandwagon. Of all the problems that the United States is trying to deal with like unemployment, fiancial mess, recession, now comes as to who will cook in their kitchen and what they will eat.

Ruth Reichl of Gourmet, restaurateur Danny Meyer, activist Alice Waters are asking the Obamas to appoint them the Kitchen Cabinet. In short, a group of white people are telling black people to give them the power to fire ethnic Filipino chef Cristeta Comerford so they can appoint one of their own who is famous.

So far, Michelle Obama met them halfway by having a photo-op holding a hoe in the White House garden.
