Bicol Canada Induction 2012

Bicol Canada held their Induction of Officers for the year 2012 at the Peter and Paul Hall. It was avery well-attended affair. Around 280 guest joined in the celebration. Ambassador Leslie Gattan and Cogen Pedro Chan were in attendance. The Ambassador officiated the induction of officer sand members of Bicol Canada.

Philippine Ambassador to Canada, His Excellency Leslie B. Gatan, inducted
into Office the officers and members of the board of directors of the Bicol
Canada Community Association Inc, (BCCA) headed by its' President Rafael
Nebres who is also the general manager of ACTION HONDA on March 31, 2012
(Friday) at the Sts. Peter & Paul Banquet Hall,  231 Milner Avenue, Scarborough, Ontario,
Canada.

Aside from Nebres, the other BCCA officers include: Noli Aquino, vice
presidentfor government relations; Broadcaster Jess Cabrias, vice president formembership; and  journalist JOJO TADURAN, vice president for publicrelations; Arlene Martirez, secretary; Elizabeth Malanyaon, assistantsecretary; Bobby Capco, treasurer; Felix Reyes, assistant treasurer; AlexGuerina, auditor;  Jun Salcedo and Eugene Deocarez, directors for specialprojects. The other BCCA member of the board of director are Naty de laTorre Gutierrez, Fely Ortega, Ching Ragos, Estrella Dilla Carpenter, JunEmila, Floro Alvarez Dabu, Jr.;  Edgar Recon, Ely Olayon, Willie Nabus, andLarry Bercasio.

Zor and Alex Guerina of  Body Flex were in attendance.

In his speech, Gatan cited the different prorams and projects being
implemented bythe National Government under the leadership of President Benigno SeimoenC. Aquino !!!.

In a message sent to BCCA, President Aquino lauded the Bicol Canada
Community Association Inc, (BCCA) for its efforts in continuing and promoting the
spirit of bayanihan and the sense of community even residing outside of the
Philippines.

The officers and members of the BCCA are coming from the provinces of Albay,
Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Masbate, and Sorsogon  whoopted to settle in Canada.
